Our mission
EPIC is a non-profit organization established to promote healthy parenting knowledge, skills, and child development through parental socialization, providing nurturing parent programs that allow parents to develop skills and strategies that they and their children need to thrive, flourish, and function in society.
Our history
Established in 2018, Effective Parenting Impacting Children (EPIC) provides programs for children to create positive outcomes aimed to reduce recidivism, reduce substance abuse, promote safety, reduce child fatality and abuse, increase positive health outcomes, and enhance social and emotional well-being for parents and children. Our goal is to provide education, life skills, and safety practices to parents and children, focusing on populations where parents and children are at greatest risk of abuse, neglect, and those who are disproportionately affected by social and economic disparities. EPIC uses a coordinated approach that addresses these issues to create a foundation for success for mothers, fathers, and children.

Precious Cargo
Car seat safety program- program staff provide car seat education and work with you to make sure your child is fitted correctly, in the correct seat, and that the seat is installed safely in your vehicle. New car seats are given to families in need, on a donation basis, as funding allows.
